ONLY ORDERS HELD FOR YOUR PICK UP AT FED EX ARE GUARANTEED.

--You must pick up your package at Fed Ex by 11 am, we will find the closest Fed Ex facility and inform you the day of your order with the Fed Ex address and your tracking number. You can pick up your package at Fed Ex after 9 am. Failure to pick up your package by 11 am and acclimate your animals into your tank within 2 hours voids our guarantee.

--We do not guarantee any orders sent out on the delivery truck due to potentially rough handling and temp. abuse. We only offer a guarantee on orders held for your pick up at Fed Ex. (Very few exceptions except on a case basis)

--We do not guarantee orders delayed or damaged by Fed Ex due to any reason. IF YOUR PACKAGE IS DELAYED OR DAMAGED BY FEDEX A CLAIM MUST BE FILED WITH FEDEX FOR REIMBURSEMENT.

--In the rare event that an item comes in dead or dies within 3 days of arrival we will replace the item on your next order with same coral (if possible) or something of equal value, we do not issue credit card or paypal refunds.

--All animals should be quarantined before adding to your display tank, see our acclimation instructions for details. ALL ANIMALS ACQUIRED FROM ANY SOURCE SHOULD BE QUARANTINED PRIOR TO ADDING TO YOUR ESTABLISHED REEF TANK.

-All of our coral systems are treated for red bugs and flatworms and nudis as a preventative. All new incoming corals are quarantined for a minimum of 10 days with full pest treatment. Every coral is individually examined for health and pests prior to shipping. We recommend that all new additions from any vendor be quarantined prior to adding to your display tank.

-Your tank must be ready to accept the animals, fully cycled and stable, and you must follow our acclimation procedures which can be found on this site.

--We must be notified directly by phone of any DOA's within 2 hours of receiving your order, 626-284-2607, please leave a message with the date and time you called. All D.O.A's will be required to fill out a claim form before credit on next order can be processed. Shipping and packing charges are not credited.

--We must receive a digital photo of any lost items within 48 hours of receipt of the coral, no replacements will be credited to your account until we receive a photo. If the animal is dead in the bag, please take a picture and do not open the bag. We may request that the animal be sent back to us for inspection. This is our policy and may randomly occur. If you do not have access to a digital camera we may ask you to mail back the dead animal. Do not dispose of the animal until you have talked to us. Send the photo to Customer Service at: cs@thecoraloasis.com or Frank at frank@tropicalreefoasis.com

--Replacements are sent only once.

--Box charges, ice or heat packs, and shipping are charged on all replacements. Shipping is not included on replacement orders, shipping is charged on any replacements.

--We do not guarantee color. We do our best to accurately display the colors of all animals in the pics posted on our site. It is impossible with reef tank lighting and digital photography to get colors axactly as they look in real life, we do our best to accurately display colors. However, shipping stress, water quality differences in every tank, and the many types of lighting hobbyists use will alter the color of marine animals making it impossible for us to guarantee exact color matches in every tank.

--Please do not purchase hard to keep animals if you have little experience with them. We will be more than happy to coach you through your selecting process. We want to ensure that your purchase will be safe for you and the animal.

We will not guarantee your animals if you refuse delivery of your order, or if no one is available to receive the package or it is not picked up at the FedEx facility. While delays with FedEx are rare, they do happen occasionally. DO NOT refuse a package if it is delayed. The only way we can file a claim is after the package is delivered.

Coral Pictures
A lot of our corals are pictures of our colony. So if you have a question regarding a specific fragment, please contact us to find out. All our coral pictures are taken under a variety of lights, mostly 175W~400W 14k and 20k Halides. We do not enhance our pictures to make them out to be more spectacular than they already are. We get the best coloration out of corals using these bulbs. The corals at our facilities may not look the same in our system as yours for the following reasons:
Pictures taken from the top usually look different from the front.
Shipping can cause stress to the coral or fish resulting in loss of color.
Lighting may be different than what we use here at our facility.
Water parameters are different and can cause stress and loss of coloration as well.
When making your decision, please consider these factors before purchasing. Although corals will generally color back up, we want to make sure you are 100% confident in your purchase before speculating.

Thank you,

Frank Burr
