Keeperz Stag- TCO Mother colony

This beautiful Acropora sp. Staghorn coral was obtained from Joe Goldberg of
Las Vegas, NV during Frank's road trip in October 2007. Joe obtained this wild
coral via a special tranship to Las Vegas. A nice deep purple colored body.
Branch growth tips are a baby blue in color and corallite edges are a neon green
color. Growth rate has been slow to moderate. The pictured colony you see is
after 4 months in the propagation system at The Coral Oasis. Maintains a deep
purple color under almost all intensities of halide lighting. This Limited Edition
is being grown by The Coral Oasis who is distributing and growing fragments
of this coral from the fragment acquired in 2007. Frank Burr is propagating
this coral in a SPS/LPS propagation system at The Coral Oasis grow out and distribution
facility. The coral is currently positioned at about 15 inches below a 400w
20,000K XM Metal Halide (6" water depth). Water current is moderate to
strong. Starting in February 2008, The Coral Oasis will distribute 1 farmed
fragment of this spectacular coral monthly. Price is currently $80 per small

This Limited Edition coral has been selected for First Edition Auctioning through
Tropical Reef
Oasis. The very first fragment of this coral produced
and grown within the The Coral Oasis facility will be auctioned beginning February
2008 to the highest bidder. Limited Edition corals are obtained thru trades
with hobbyists all over the U.S. Many of the corals listed were found during
Frank Burr's Coral Road
Trips during 2005~2007 and continuing in 2008. After this First Edition
Auction the coral becomes a normal Limited Edition each month where The Coral
Oasis earns each months reservation income by growing the captive fragment.
The Coral Oasis propagation facility is closed to the public and available by
appointment only.
