Sunset Mille - Original Mother colony - Jesse Biglay

This unbelievable Acropora millepora coral was obtained from Jesse Biglay of
Phoenix, AZ during Frank's road trip in January 2008. Jesse who is an avid collector
of rare and stunning corals obtained this coral as a wild colony in a 2006 transship
to Phoenix. A stunning combination of colors, the body is nice golden coloration
with Pink growth tips!!. Polyps are a neon green and corallite edges are a neon
golden orange color. Growth rate has been moderate. The pictured colony you
see is from Jesse's tank taken at the time of fragging. Close up shows the amazing
colors and corallite structures. This Limited Edition is being grown by The
Coral Oasis who is distributing and growing fragments of this coral from the
fragment acquired in 2008. Frank Burr is propagating this coral in a SPS/LPS
propagation system at The Coral Oasis grow out and distribution facility. The
coral is currently positioned at about 15 inches below a 400w 20,000K XM Metal
Halide (6" water depth). Water current is moderate to strong. Starting
in March 2008, The Coral Oasis will distribute 1 farmed fragment of this spectacular
coral monthly. Price is currently $85 per small sized fragment. The Monthly

This Limited Edition coral has been selected for First Edition Auctioning through
Tropical Reef
Oasis. The very first fragment of this coral produced
and grown within the The Coral Oasis facility will be auctioned beginning March
2008 to the highest bidder. Limited Edition corals are obtained thru trades
with hobbyists all over the U.S. Many of the corals listed were found during
Frank Burr's Coral Road
Trips during 2005~2007 and continuing in 2008. After this First Edition
Auction the coral becomes a normal Limited Edition each month where The Coral
Oasis earns each months reservation income by growing the captive fragment.
The Coral Oasis propagation facility is closed to the public and available by
appointment only.
